Steampunk in Cambridge III, held at the Museum of Technology.

Very minimal setup for this one - X-T1 (no strap or extra grip) with the 35, plus an Instax printer so I could hand out “sepia” prints to people as I went. Put together a passable steampunk outfit from my larp wardrobe (never been to a Steampunk event before, after all), and off I went.

Have to admit, felt like I stood out (in a good way) compared to most of the other photographers present (and there were a fair few), with the prints, and lack of a chunky zoom. Not as much as the pair doing tintypes, though… (Oh goodness, some envy going on there!)

Steampunk Doll By CS : “My daughter designed her own Steampunk Cyborg Doll costume for Halloween this year and she and her mom hand made it. The eye piece on the mask is the lens from a point and shoot camera from Goodwill.

She’s posed in front of matte slate gray paper with two soft lights, one right in front of her and one next to the camera. The shatter effect and “old-timey” grading were done in Photoshop. Happy Halloween.”
