Hear me out:
Clint is retired and actually has the time to do story prep between sessions (or at least moreso than 3 guys who each have young kids and multiple podcasts and other projects)
it would be risky: high risk high reward. Like definitely it could make their worst season yet but I'd still prefer that to a safe and mediocre season.
Clint knows the least about game mechanics which imo makes for the FUNNIEST playing. Like, half the funny bits of early Balance was them not understanding dnd.
clint dming and having his 3 sons have to reign in his chaotic energy would be funny because he tends to do things off the cuff that are buck wild and unexpected.
Commitment fucked. I haven't listened to it in years and can still remember specific details that I loved which is more than I can say for most other recent TAZ arcs.

getting asked for my pronouns is so weird now because I'm like, ok so like it's they/them but also it's kinda they/he but those are like my secret menu pronouns.
like yeah he/him is fine, like I wouldn't say he/him are my pronouns but also they're not NOT my pronouns. I feel a need to reassure you that he/him is NOT misgendering me. I fully expect to go by he/him 90% of the time and it's not a closet/not closeted thing. This is fine. They're like a nickname to me.
Also if you are a blood relative of mine you are allowed to throw in exactly 3 she/hers per week before it becomes misgendering but they cannot under any circumstances know this.
so I'm kinda they/them and kinda they/he/she but mostly they/he but watch out.
