that’s so cute hold on i just sensed a headcanon here we go 

i’m imagining robert walking into the pub, a little bit sad because his birthday’s been shit and then he sees aaron, who has a banner around his body and a balloon in his hand and he’s got a little grin on

and robert’s like... “what’s this?” and aaron gives him a funny look and he’s like, “it’s your birthday party. themed, by the way.” 

and robert’s laughing at this point and he’s walking up to aaron with his head tilted so he can read the “happy 30th birthday” on the banner and he says, “what’s the theme?” and aaron grins even wider and he leans in and just whispers, “me.” and then they kiss and end up having a lot of birthday sex, the best present rob could have asked for after being celibate for 9 months
