Today’s announcement that Russia won’t have any neutral teams competing in ice dance or pairs was a moment of hope that sometimes decisions go the right was. There was no way to justify StepBuk as a ‘neutral’ team. Russia wasn’t able to force their will on the world. (And I’m saying this as a Canadian still pissed off about the team bronze decision)
