This is an incredibly long shot and I feel a little bit crazy for asking lol but by any chance do you happen to know of a wow wow wubzy ytp from like 2010? It got removed from YouTube a very long time ago but I still think about it all the time. Especially the one little character going "ohhhh yesyesyes"
not familiar with this at all, but if anybody else is, please add in the comments!
Thanks everyone for the many submissions/requests, I'm looking at a few each week! (might not post all of them though; I like this blog being a compilation of my personal favorites, ha)
So here's the shortest version of what's going on.
(Edit: I'm putting this under a cut now because I'm sick of scrolling past it)
Sometime in the afternoon of March 17 my main blog, stepfordgoth, got terminated. I sent an email to support being like "hey this is probably a mistake? I've been here for 11 years and I'm not a problem poster" and they said this:
Okay. That's dumb as fuck. Of course I've accumulated a large number of urls. My account is 11 years old. But whatever. I tried to log into my account at this point but I was still locked out. So I sent them another email, agreeing to delete my inactive urls but explaining that I can't do that unless they give me access to my account again:
The language that I used was "cold, factual and lawyerly", my boyfriend commented, and he said "they aren't gonna respond to that". I don't fucking understand that at all, but he works with lawyers all day so I let him send another email (from my email address) with slightly softer language and no proper capitalization or punctuation and support fucking responded within an hour. Presumably with cat girl ears on.
Fucking hell. Alright. So. I went through all my sideblogs. I counted the number of ones that had posts and the ones that didn't. 67 total blogs on my account. Yeah, I know.
Assuming all they were asking for is that I delete the ones that are completely empty, I concluded that I needed to delete 40 of them and I went through the lengthy process of doing that. When I was finished I sent support another email:
..... And another this morning. No responses yet. I'm wondering if no one answers the support line on the weekends and if I won't get a response until Monday.
When I was given access to my account to delete all the sideblogs, they gave me access to everything except for making/reblogging/queueing/drafting/liking/commenting on posts. I was still able to endlessly scroll my dash and view other people's blogs, and I learned that I'm able to post on all my remaining sideblogs. So, until support pulls their dicks out of their own asses, I'm on this blog. Last year I hoarded a sideblog for every month of the year because my queue was constantly full but I had posts I wanted to save for different times of the year, and because they're constantly being updated with aesthetic posts they're not considered inactive sideblogs.
Still, I think it's both silly and bizarre that Tumblr banned me for using a function of their website too much over 11 years.
