not really sure where else to ask this. would you happen to know of any community or something where one could share their ytps and potentially get more eyes on them, outside of just posting them to youtube and hoping the algorithm does its thing?

I'll always take a look at anything people submit, but I only actually post a handful of them! (my very personal preferences are smooth sentence mixing & absurd but follow-able narratives)

I've seen some people cross-post at Tumblr, bsky, and various other social media platforms, always helps to have it in more than one place

There's a couple YTP subreddits out there

I know there's also a fandom wiki, not sure how up-to-date it's kept

I come in desperate need for aide, record keeper. I have scoured the digital archives of the world for a specific YTP that has eluded me for over a decade now. The details are foggy, but the parts I remember:

It was a gmod-team fortress 2 type video

The beautiful sentence mixing where the heavy from Team Fortress 2 says “NO! MOVE MA-SHIT! Heavy is di-no-saur. Roar. Show yourself wizaAAAA”

In the aforementioned lines, the heavy from team fortress 2 punches a Tyranosaurus Rex in the face or some such

Please record keeper, if you or any of our peers can help me find this white whale of YTP I’ve dedicated all these years to searching, my debt would be eternal

not as familiar with TF2 YTPs myself, but happy to put this out to see if anybody else knows it!

Deeer

A YTP of a bowhunting instructional VHS. I picked up a copy of this tape at a flea market and was delighted to find that it had been digitized and uploaded to YouTube.

Initially I had some inexplicable technical headache with the project file and had to start the whole thing over, but I'm happy I could preserve what I'd started and produce a hefty 10+ minute video.

This is an incredibly long shot and I feel a little bit crazy for asking lol but by any chance do you happen to know of a wow wow wubzy ytp from like 2010? It got removed from YouTube a very long time ago but I still think about it all the time. Especially the one little character going "ohhhh yesyesyes"
