1 of 3 Character in my animation. Had a talk with Dave today, well worth it. He has seen how ive been creating light and shadow’s on my plane character’s and has shown me some new cool things as well as improving my process.
The characters Actualy look 3d now.... Ill be using this technique in the future i think

Animated Short: FYP
So for the last few week’s ive been Trying and trying over and over again to refine my story idea for my animated short.
I've written a few Variations of my story but all seemed to be a bit....Boring or vanilla. I Wanted to make a short of an Assassin who has a character changing moment. Reviewing my story a few time’s i seemed like a remake of , In Bruge, or Leon the assassin. Granted I want to make an animated short version of this story type but, I didn't feel it was interesting enough.
Yesterday’s Talk with Paul sent my Animation in a total different and very Interesting direction, Sujesting i should Make it in a Documentary style. I Suppose it not the story was Bad but the way I wanted to deliver it needed to be Spruced up.
Thankfully my Time at C.R.Videos where i did my Work Experience i spent alto of time editing Short Interview’s and one Documentary together. I Think i can work this to my advantage an make a relay interesting Short from this.
So from there on iv made this Visual to set the tone and mood, i spend alto of time designing DVD Cover’s and Posters at C.R.Videos and i think this Pre-Visual Alone will relay help Focus my Work.

As part of my Final year of College at the Limerick School of Art and Design (Animation and motion design) I've been Developing my own technique for Producing animation faster and at a higher quality. From start to finish it really took about 2 days. to make this shot But took 3 month to develop this style and technique. Extremis Vitae is an animated short that portrays the life of an ex-soldier suffering from PTSD and his struggle with daily life. his past life hounding him from behind and lurking him in the dark shadow's, pushing him to the edge.
This is my Second year Animation part of the Limerick School of Art and Design, Animation and Motion Design Course.
Animated in Flash CS6, After Effects CS6 Premier Pro CS6 and Audition CS6
