Education should be free, more money should be spent on programs combating mental illness and big corporations should be heavily taxed to pay for it. I would be willing to pay more taxes if I knew my taxes would be used wisely, but unfortunately, in Canada, with Stephen Harper's regime in power, that's not where our taxes go. Our taxes for pay corporate greed, make the rich richer, and get us involved in wars that ruin the world even more, while threatening our security.

It's inspirational when politicians admit their humanity, and that they too, sometimes are at a loss for solutions to society's ills.
