umbrella: sender lets receiver under umbrella
"It's cold out there. Don't want to get sick," Tethys whistles in her sing-song voice. "Come under my umbrella and catch a break. A pretty girl like you doesn't need to get dirty."
Though some might complain when the weather turns to dark skies and rain, Mitama has always liked it. When rain silences the world and empties the street, the world reveals a side to itself them is seldom seen. The monastery's architecture is easier to admire when there are fewer students to interrupt the view, and if Mitama chooses to spend a day inside staring out her window, no one criticizes her for it when the rain forces them to do the same.
Being outdoors in the rain, however, where she might become wet and muddy and miserable...that is entirely different.
"Oh?" Mitama raises her head as an umbrella is lifted above her. She recalls seeing the professor around, but she has not taken any of her classes. Still, Mitama smiles and nods her head politely. "Thank you, I appreciate the shelter. The weather caught me by surprise. I was worried I would bring half of the rain into class with me."
Pretty? She laughs as she squeezes out rain water from her hair. "It would be best then for two pretty women to hurry inside where they will be safe from such a threat then, would it not?"
