I'm so fascinated by the concept of this one that a read it so many times! I wish it was longer.

Derek sighed and rubbed his forehead. "What if I told you I traveled back in time to protect you."

The Quickest Way to a Man’s Heart (is Through His Bottomless Pit) [Words: 54167]

I read this one twice because it's one of those rare AUs I loved. And because I read everything of this author.

Pulling open his apartment door, he let out an involuntary shout when something was quite literally thrust into his chest hard enough to have him almost tip backwards. He managed to right himself while keeping hold of what had been shoved at him and looked up in time to see his neighbour striding back towards his apartment.

“You’re going to fucking kill yourself.”

His door slammed.

Stiles blinked at the other man’s door, utterly confused, and looked down at what he was holding.

It was a plastic bag, full of what felt like tupperware, which made no sense to Stiles because when had his neighbour broken into his house to steal his tupperware?

Stiles is almost used to being chased around the school by werewolves at this point. Having to share a bed with Derek freaking Hale, on the other hand, is just needlessly complicating his life.

He mentally fist pumped at saying that without messing it up.

I just read a terrible take in one of my other fandoms hating on fics based on who bottoms. I understand having reading preferences but disliking a fanfic because one person bottoms and you prefer they top is just ridiculous.

I think the idea of who ‘tops’ and who ‘bottoms’ can come from socially ingrained gender roles and this idea of hyper masculinity and I speak from a w/m perspective having never been in a queer relationship.

I see it a lot, the idea that the more masculine character must top, or complaints in the comments that a tag should have been included. If you like the relationship and you’re reading more than a pwp then should it really matter?

derek’s family were incredibly famous due to their survival of kate trying to kill them, and creating like a task force?
