And I'll never mind hearing about Bones either, it's such a fun and intriguing fic.

Okay let's see if I can be succinct about these:

Manifesting murder: Stiles has a museum, for Reasons the authorities want to shut him down. Stiles has magic in this one and since the simplest solution to his problems is murder, his magic essentially makes this happen and anyone who threatens his museum winds up dead. And Derek is his long suffering cop/wannabe boyfriend who has to dispose of all the bodies.

Lineman: at this point, you probably have a better idea of what Lineman is than I do!

In a post-apocalyptic America (think fallout) Derek travels around setting up radio communication for everyone and Stiles has a pirate radio show. For Reasons, Derek has to take a really long roadtrip with the Sheriff to go and find Stiles before Kate does. And inevitably falls in love with the mysterious radio DJ on the way. Also there's a dog.

Bones - which is also known as Stiles' guide to adventure and outrunning your problems: Stiles has finished Collage and can't stand the idea of settling down so he starts traveling and runs straight into Beacon Hills where nothing is quite as it seems and there's a red-eyed mystery to solve. And skeletons in trees. And deep Celtic connections that may or may not explain why everyone is acting really weird.

i wasn't tagged by anybody but saw a post that said join in if you wanna and i'm trying to get out of a slump, so here goes!

my word is: WEIRD

W — Well, no, actually, it's not the closest they've been, it's just the closest so far. Although that's not really true either, now he thinks about it, because Stiles has been up close and personal with Derek Hale on many, many occasions by this point in their batshit lives. Hell, the two of them have practically snuggled before now—like Koala bears who hate each other's guts but just cannot deny their clingy nature—in what is such a dizzying number of wildly uncomfortable situations slash terrifying near-death experiences, that Stiles has given up trying to keep count.

E — Evidently, Stiles Stilinski is an honest to Crowley fuck boi, and Derek hates, hates, hates him. Unlucky for Derek, he also happens to be down so bad for the slutty little asshole that he's practically rotting in the ground like his dead uncle was up until very recently.

Maybe he and Peter can combine their magical know-how to curse the fucker... Yeah, he knows without a shadow of a doubt that he's lying to himself now. He can't stay away from the irritating sex-pot for long enough to burn some fucking sage, let alone find a suitable ritual.

Oh well, he thinks, now resigned to his likely doomed fate, here we fucking go.

I — It is a balmy Tuesday evening at the start of April when Derek realises he wants to taste Stiles's blood.

R — Regardless of the sharp pain shooting up his spine, Stiles tries his level best to tussle with the crushing weight now pinning him to the damp scrub that is the floor of the Preserve. But as a pale moonbeam claws its way through a gap in the ghostly clouds, Stiles's struggle reaches an abrupt end when he clocks a familer arrow-shaped nose and looks up to see two glowing red eyes that burn into him like fucking Laser Tag beams. Predictably scared and weirdly turned on, he comes to the choking realisation that it is a wolfed-out Derek Hale who is currently laying on top of him in the middle of the woods at almost midnight. Also, such is his beyond fucked-up life, the powerful Alpha is shockingly as naked as the day he was born—and oh so obviously aroused.

D — Derek has to tamper the growl threatening to crawl up his larynx, a poisonous spider trying to squeeze its way through the gaps in his clenched teeth that are itching to drop down into fangs.

Stiles biting into that rosebud lip is always a bit much for him to take.

so here have a lil sterek wip from when i had my barbie hyperfixation and decided to make my blorbos experience it too (mostly just an excuse for pack bonding and general silliness)

“I can be useful to the pack, you know I can, Derek! Maybe I’m like Elina and have the rainbow in my eye,” Stiles said, throwing up his hands. He was currently pacing around the loft as he tried yet again to get Derek to let him help with pack business.

“What does that even mean, Stilinski?” Jackson groaned, sitting up from where he had been leaning against Lydia on one of the many couches in the new and improved Hale loft. Erica and Boyd were sitting curled up on the couch opposite them with Isaac sitting on the floor at their feet looking adorably confused as he watched Stiles and Jackson.

Stiles gasped. “What do you mean what does that mean? Haven’t you ever seen Barbie: Fairytopia?”

Derek watched in amusement as Jackson looked at Stiles in disbelief.

“Do I look like I’ve watched Barbie Fairypia?” Jackson deadpanned.

“Fairytopia,” Stiles corrected, aghast. “This just won’t do. You have to watch them, they’re amazing. In fact you should watch all of the early Barbie movies.”

“You’re not going to force everyone to watch them like you did me, are you?” Scott asked from the floor where he was lying with his head in Isaac’s lap. Derek had noticed the two of them getting closer these days and while a part of him worried— Scott always seemed to have one foot out of the pack— he was happy that Isaac was happy.

“I’m definitely going to force everyone to watch them,” Stiles said, nodding his head like he had just come to the decision himself. “It’s part of one’s basic education. You can’t not watch the early days Barbie movies.”

Derek just tips his head toward the kitchen in reply and goes back to reading. When he closes the book, he sees Stiles passed out face-down on the couch, drooling, and it dawns on him that the apartment is going to smell like Stiles for days. He sighs and goes to swap out his book for a new one.

💞 - stiles makes the pack watch the barbie movies

“Alright, kids, let’s get this show on the road,” Stiles said, grabbing the remote and pressing play once everyone was settled in with their snacks.

Derek grabbed one of the twizzlers from the package and munched while the opening credits for Barbie: Fairytopia played. He glanced around at the rest of the pack, feeling a content rumbling try to start in his chest at how comfortable and happy everyone looked, even the ones who were being reluctantly pulled into the magic of Barbie.

Stiles nudged him for the second time that night. “Everything okay?” He whispered. “You’re zoning out again.”

“Yeah,” Derek grunted, shaking himself out of his thoughts and making himself pay attention to the screen in front of him. “I’m here, I’m paying attention.”

“Good, cause this is one of my favourites,” Stiles grinned.

Ah, thanks so much for this ask @writerhellenemeyers! @gege-wondering-around asked as well and I've been putting it off because I didn't know how to answer!

Everything I have is in a WIP status and I am an extremely slow writer. I get no time (despite what my chronically online presence here might suggest!)

Anyway I now have two wips so I thought it was time to answer!

No Title As Yet -

The first one is a strange mix of ingredients and is essentially about Stiles taking a roadtrip for complicated personal reasons and running full tilt into Beacon Hills which is one of those small towns where everyone is acting really weird and there's a strange red eyed monster following him around (nudge wink) - and he basically wants to solve All the mysteries. It's inspired by all those strange small town stories (twilight, Stephen king, gravity falls etc) the songs 'My Silver Lining' by first aid kit and 'Indigo' by Katherine Priddy and this strange Welsh myth about a woman who vanishes on her wedding day only for her bones to be found ten years later, still clothed in the wedding dress, inside a tree that has been struck by lightning/come down in a storm. I'm aiming for it to be funny, creepy, wild and full of strange magic.

I'm manifesting... murder?

Okay the next one was just a funny thing to cheer up my friend who'd had an insanely bad day/week at work but it sort of spiraled.

It was this idea that Stiles is having trouble with the authorities trying to close down his museum. And because he's a spark and does a bit of a to b thinking he sort of... Accidentally manifests/wills their murders. At least, it's starts off accidentally... A kind of "I didn't mean for this to happen but it's made everything better??? Is murder the solution to all my problems?" With Derek being dragged along for the ride and becoming his long-suffering accomplice.

My friends brief was 'murder husbands but make it hot fuzz." Still not sure where it's going! It might end up being a 5 times Stiles accidentally kills people and one time it was on purpose - who knows!

Anyway... thanks so much for the ask! I like to write purely for fun so I don't know if this will tick anyone's boxes but that's my stuff!
