Stiles looked down at the sheet of cookies, or, well—burnt cookies. If it was the last thing he did, he was going to get the cookies right. Nice and tender, chewy and moist. It didn't help that Elijah insisted on helping with everything and Stiles loved him so much that, of course, he let him help with everything.

Stiles stretched in bed, sighing softly as his muscles relaxed and his bones cracked like an ancient mummy moving for the first time in centuries.
He smiled as he smelled the delicious scent of bacon wafting in from the kitchen, hearing the constant chatter of Elijah talking away about nothing and everything at the same time, Derek’s soft tones assuring their son that he was listening when Elijah asked if he was paying attention.

The rain poured down as Stiles ran, his clothes drenched and sticking to his skin. The umbrella that Derek had tried to squeeze them both under just wasn't big enough and had given into the strong winds, buckling and breaking with the storm.

It had been about a week since Stiles had been home with his family, having spent that time at the Omega post-birthing center. His second time around had been just as good as the first time, getting care after baby Ava was born, but he’d missed his family terribly.
Stiles was glad to be back home, able to be with his children every moment of the day now. He smiled down at baby Ava in his arms, carefully rocking her and tucking her against his chest as she nursed. He hummed his mother’s favorite song to her, the tunes of Hey Jude filling the brief silence of their house.
He walked out of the nursery and headed into the living room where Elijah was sitting on the couch with Derek, tucked against his mate’s side as they read a book together. Elijah was learning how to read so fast and Stiles was so proud of him.

Stiles winced as he watched Ava, barely two months old, stumbling along the forest floor next to Elijah and Derek in her wolf form. Today they were out exploring with Ava for the first time.
She was still clumsy, her howls tinny and more yips than howls at this point, her gate floppy as she tumbled along next to Derek, and she promptly tripped him several times as he tried not to step on her. It made Stiles laugh to himself, even if he was also worried about Derek accidentally crushing her.
