"Final" announcement about my fic Quarter Mile:

In case you don’t know, last summer I promised I was gonna write the biggest and most ambitious fic I’ve ever done, which was the Fast & Furious AU that I’ve wanted to write for as long as I can remember.

Things did not go as planned. I talked about this plenty already, but to keep it short: I cut my hand quite badly just a few days after posting the very first chapter, and was basically one-handed for the rest of the summer. I was in horrible pain the first week, but even when it faded I could not sleep, could not cook, could not care for my dog properly, could barely dress myself, and could definitely not write. Even though I denied it all throughout summer, there was no way this fic could have been written while I was this injured.

I don’t want to ruin the mood in this post, because this is really supposed to be a happy announcement, but I have written a longer explanation / apology to those who are wondering what happened last rummer here.

So, Quarter Mile didn’t happen last year, but it’s happening now.

I recently got a job, and I’ll be working night shifts all summer, where I’ll mostly have to keep myself occupied all night. Needless to say, this is the perfect opportunity for me to write. ( I don’t see the point in me going into details, but trust me: I’m gonna get a lot of writing done and I was beyond excited when my employer explained it to me..! )

Unlike last year I won’t set up a posting schedule, because I think that’ll only stress me out, but the chapters will start coming sometime after June 3rd; that’s when I’m out of school.

I’m calling it a ‘reboot’ in the sense that I’ll restart the frequent posting; I’m not gonna rewrite the 1st chapter, but I’ll definitely go through and update it when posting the 2nd chapter, because one year in writing school has certainly taught me a lot... I will start using the tag ‘qm update’ for updates, so you can always follow how my progress is going. Over the summer that’s probably what my blog will mostly be used for.

I am really excited to get this show back on the road (no pun intended) and I hope y’all are too. Thanks for being so patient.

Help a brother out?!

I’ve recently started rewatching Teen Wolf with a classmate of mine who’s never seen it before, and he’s so damn ready to get aboard the Sterek ship, and I just don’t wanna fuck this up though I’ve probably given him really high expectations for this ship XD And I realize the biggest and most amazing part of it is in fact what we do in fanon, on top of what goes down in canon...
