Friends - Mind Control So apparently, the guy who directed this video(Hiro Murai) also directed one of my other favorite videos, Cheerleader by St. Vincent. But anyways, the video is very well shot and uses some simple shots turned odd. The Camera Man was very cool, even though it would've been kinda sweet to see him move a little more than he did... The song is grooving, with a bumping bass line similar to their other single, I'm His Girl, though the drums are a lot more interesting than that song, and really fill the spaces between the vocals and synths. On a side note...if you get the chance go to their facebook page... A. they suck at writing intelligibly B. they've switched styles. Like, in the 180 type way... C. THERES A STEREOGRAM OF THEIR ALBUM!!!!!
the stereogranimator is great project of the new york public library to give life to the old stereograms-so go and GIF it!
