I absolutely love the red flags, but I have a challenge

Specs red flags? I believe he would not have much, but it seems like everyone has red flags.

Specs Fisher x gn!reader

A/n honestly, this really was a challenge, I couldn't make it past 7 red flags! And even then, I think most of these would easily be resolved with good communication. What can I say? Specs is just a cutie pie

Has a tendency to mansplain. It doesn't necessarily come from a bad place, he just considers himself the most knowledgeable on TV shows and films, and sometimes it gets a little bit grating

He's got absolutely zero social awareness, so sometimes he can unintentionally be a little rude. Once again, this doesn't come from a bad place, but has resulted in a number of social feux pa's.

He can't help but correct people when they're not entirely grammatically correct. He genuinely believes he's being helpful, but when you went on a date and he listed all the grammatical errors on the menu to the waiter it made your skin crawl.

He can be far too touchy sometimes. He doesn't really understand where the unspoken boundaries between acquaintances lie, so he often gives out unwanted hugs and pats on the back that last far too long. Of course, you know that he doesn't mean anything untoward by it, but for the average person it's easy to see specs as a bit of a creep.

You often feel as though he isn't very nice to tucker. As much as their playful banter is funny, you notice that specs can take it a bit too far and hurt tucker's feelings.

Despite his good intentions, approaching specs with an insecurity can very easily result in you feeling far worse. For example, when you tell him you feel insecure about your appearance, instead of reassurance, he tells you about the cosmetic surgery options that are available. He doesn't think that you need them, but he interprets your gripes about your physical appearance as asking for help to change it. He doesn't want to offer unwarranted help or advice, so unless you specifically state that you want a compliment, it's quite hard to get one out of him.

He gets far too much control over what you watch on movie night. He genuinely believes that he's got the best movie recommendations known to man, and is reluctant to admit he likes one of your recommendations out of principle.

Specs x gn!reader

A/n I'm so glad you liked my Lawrence hcs!!!! This made me so happy 😭😭 I love specs so much, so I'm more than glad to do his morning routine hcs for you!! Thank you so so so much for the request!!

Specs has a big shelf full of action figures and collectibles, so every morning the very first thing he does is dust it off and make sure every figure is posed correctly.

For breakfast he loves nothing more than a big bowl of cereal, his favourite is coco pops or lucky charms. He makes it for himself if you're in a rush, but most days he sits at the kitchen table eagerly waiting for you to bring it to him because it "Tastes better if you make it"

He starts every day off with a big glass of apple juice, he's not really a fan of caffeine or the bitter taste of coffee (though he did pretend to enjoy it when you first started dating, because he was scared you'd think he was immature)

He's got a blog where he posts reviews of comics and movies, and every morning he likes to check it and reply to comments. Occasionally you have to pull him away from his laptop when debates over star wars get a bit too heated.

While specs is in the shower you lay out his clothes for the day and pack his bag for him. He can get quite overwhelmed and stressed in the mornings, so it really helps him when you make some of the decisions for him.

Every morning without fail, he makes the bed. He loves coming home from a long day of work to find a comfy and clean bed.

He's quite a jittery and anxious guy, so on weekends when neither of you have to work, you like to give him the most laid back mornings possible. You bring him Nutella on toast and a glass of apple juice in bed, and snuggle with him all morning while he watches old episodes of star trek on the TV in your room.

He's got one of those wooden block calendars on his bedside table, and he can't get out of bed until he puts the right date in it.

Once he's dressed, he likes to lay out his pyjamas for the evening on the bed straight away. That way, the second he gets home he can get changed into something comfy.

Finally, his day can't start without a morning kiss. A little peck on the lips, accompanied by a "good morning, my love" is the only acceptable way for specs to start his day
