I really liked the movie but I don’t think the movie captured that Desi was also kind of crazy and really obsessed 

Also the book gives Amy more humanity and you can better see how she felt and the reasons for her actions

Same here! Like my dad legitimately doesn't understand why Thor is my favorite avenger and one of my favorite characters of all time and I just have to explain the many great things there are about Thor Odinson. I just wish more people could see how wonderful he is :-/
