SMASHED BEEF
3 lbs. Beef Stew Meat
6 TBSP. Butter
3 TBSP. Brown Sugar
6 Tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tsp. Black Pepper
3 Tsp. Minced Onion
1 Tsp. Garlic Powder
1 Tsp. Beau Monde Seasoning (Found by the spices)
In crockpot, brown meat and butter (on high). Add remaining ingredients and
continue cooking. Mixture should be boiling. Cover and boil for 2-3 hours,
stirring occasionally (on high). Mixture will be very juicy as it's cooking.
After the first hour, be sure there is plenty of juice. If necessary, add
water. Meat will begin to "shred" as you stir after the second hour. At this
point, you should reduce heat to low and keep it simmering. Use a potato
masher to completely shred the meat. Be sure to keep plenty of juice in
mixture so as not to scorch it. When meat is shredded, it's ready to serve.
Cook no more than 3 hours! Serve on sub buns or hard rolls. I added a slice
of mozzarella cheese and some sautéed pepper and onions on a sub bun.

Easy Stew Beef and Rice
Stew Beef
In this savory stew, apple cider and sliced apple bring sweetness while cider vinegar adds tang to a one-pot meal made with beef, carrots, potatoes, and celery. Serve with a hearty, crusty bread.
