I had to say goodbye to my cat Tetra last night. She suddenly got really sick and declined rapidly, and the vet said that if I hadn't brought her in when I did she most likely wouldn't have made it through the night. They offered to run some tests and do any necessary treatments depending on what they found, but she was so far gone that they said even that might not have guaranteed anything, so ultimately I decided it would be best for her to put her down. I think it's what she would have wanted at that point.

Goodbye Tetra. I'll miss your resting bitch face and bedtime cuddles.
