okay, no. chilling at a recording studio making some music is not lying to guys. he doesn't necessarily want a solo career, he just enjoys being around music. he has openly been in the studio with naughty boy for months on top of months. the stress of doing you own thing, solely for the music, does not equal the stress of being in a huge boyband. he wants to do it for the music, not the fame or the money. respect that.

Chivalry was a religious and moral code of conduct for knights in Medieval Europe. It lasted from the late 12th century to the mid 15th century. Chivalry died with the European Middle Ages.As for what your friends *think* chivalry is- things like men holding doors open for women more often than they do for men- if men think that they "can't" be polite to women because those women, among other things, want to be paid fairly, then that's a flaw of misogyny, not feminism.

how do you feel about men opening doors for women? what about when men pay for women on dates? I'm just wondering about your views! I love your blog

I don't have a problem with a man opening a door for me (unless he expects me to wait in the car while he runs around to open my door- that feels weird to me.) I wouldn't want it to happen all the time, though. And I think that men who open doors for women should open doors for other men just as often.I also don't have a problem with men paying for dates. Men usually make more money than women. But I don't think men should have to pay for *all* dates, especially if they make less money.
