Listening to sad music in the stage manager's office while I clean out my bin because no one needs me for this shift of auditions for next year.
Being a senior is kinda sad sometimes.

currently on meal break durign tech.
hiding in the lobby with a bag of chex mix waiting for the pizza guy to call.
hiding from my really mean LD.
Q2Q was a bitch but none of it was my fault so I'm kinda ok I guess.
Everyone stop being mean.
(and mouth breathing on an open mike)
I gotta say, going from academia where we put together the rehearsal schedule one day at a time the night before to freelancing where we put it mostly together before we even start is A+ 10/10 5 stars.
And yes, I didn't realize that was a normal thing until like, a year ago.
listening to opera makes everything you do way more classy.
Even if that's currently drinking Red Bull and staring into space.
Choreographed my first fight scene for a children's piece today. Way more excited than I should be about the fact that I finally got to use that super dramatic but super impractical "classic crossed swords" pose.
sorry mr. shakespeare your work is wonderful to choreograph but....secret combat choreographer confession OK I AM JUST A SUCKER FOR RIDICULOUSLY DRAMATIC AND HIGHLY IMPRACTICAL FIGHT SCENES.
okay. really productive night.
got to a good place with my Log Book.
I think making it in Excel is gonna work out for me.
Tomorrow:
-finalize meeting with my director
-finish log book
-send out revised meeting minutes
-send out revised contact sheet
-figure out the script situation
-If Xerox fixed, then start making production book.
-If Xerox fixed, then start printing out log book pages.
-If Log Book pages printed, then find a ride to Staples to get it bound.
i'm not panicing anymore.
goodnight.
