Hello! Yes I do! I can’t make a set of people talking about Rick after he left because I haven’t watched since he left and I have no intention to. BUT I can totally do characters talking about him while he was still around! Just bare with me please if it takes me a minute! I won’t forget though, I’ve made a rough list already ❤️

I have already used your blending two gifs in one tutorial, so now I know how to do that ;D But mostly, specifically, I want to learn how to make gif two and three (how to even make them match in colors and how to use that texture... How to get that dark pinky color in the last gif and match it with the light over?) from this post /post/163329947819/tw-appreciation-week-day-one-favorite-character ? Does any of that make sense? :P

OH YOU’RE RIGHT! I REMEMBER THAT. you made a blue sterek gifset it was beautiful i remember now lmao okay so, i was gonna make this private but since i’ve already made a tutorial with the coloring i used for that gifset, imma just do it like this. please let me know if there’s something you don’t understand, because i’m already a mess explaining things in my language, i’m probably worse doing it in english. so i’ll explain how to make these (not the gifs themselves, but the coloring):

this is the coloring i used. sort of. it’s not gonna look the exact same way but you can adjust it. also this is a gif heavy post.

first gif:

okay so i chose this scene and only took screencaps up until the door behind her that kira’s opening almost touches her nose.

it doesn’t quite get there, that’s because i’m gonna paint with a brush over that part with that yellowish color the wall has. so create a new layer, use the eyedropper tool and click on the yellow wall, then grab a soft brush and paint over the door and all the right part of the gif.

you kinda see a shadow there, it’s gonna be annoying so i just deleted those frames. now apply the coloring and adjust it as much as you need to.

if you wanna make it darker like in my gif, maybe add a black and white gradient map set in soft light on top of the psd and adjust the opacity, or use a black brush with really low opacity under the psd and paint over lydia’s hair and cheeks a lil bit.

now to make the background pink, create a selective color layer UNDER the psd, go to yellows and do this:

then pick the eraser tool, make it soft and use it on the face, as close to the line of her profile as you can, make the eraser smaller if it helps. it’ll look like this:

it’s okay if there are little spots on the nose or over the lips that you couldn’t erase because when your gif is so pink it’s barely noticeable lol.

what i did next was add the texture. i’ll post it here because i didn’t download it, i found it on google.

drag it over the gif, set it on soft light and use it however you please. after that i added a color fill layer set on screen, with this color: #0b0010, or close to it. btw i added a lil bit of brightness, just a little. before adding the texture and the color fill.

that’s basically it. if you add a black and white gradient map layer set on soft light (layer > new fill layer > gradient) UNDER the other color fill layer (the dark purple one) with the dark side on lydia’s face it will look like this:

and thats it. the last thing i did was rotate it horizontally and save it.

second gif:

it’s much simpler. i made the gif, applied the coloring, created a color fill layer (layer > new fill layer > solid color) set on multiply, picked this color: #af5887, or something like that, and then on top i added the dark purple layer set on screen i mentioned above. and that’s it.
