ok, so I’ve been reading all of standinginanicedress ’s ao3 fics lately and- I just read The Standing Dead and I’m literally struggling to think about anything else?? It’s basically Stiles as a celebrity music artist just having got out of an incredibly abusive relationship with a MLB player, and Boyd (his personal security guard) is the only person that knows about the abuse. He meets Derek later on, and overall, it’s a Sterek love story. It’s just so beautifully written, and reading stile’s healing process, the ups and the downs is so incredible. PLEASE go read it if you haven’t, it will seriously change your life. Anyway, I’m having a lot of issues with the fact that I CAN’T ACTUALLY LISTEN TO THE STANDING DEAD ALBUM. I want to listen to Nashville and Sea Monster and ZOMBIE KILLER OH MY GOD and sob my eyes out just because. I’m pretty sure it’s to the point I WOULD make a crossroads deal and i WOULD sell my first born for the music to be real because i am ATTATCHED. so anyway, the point of this post is that (keep in mind that I literally don’t listen to billie eilish ever at all) I heard Happier Than Ever by Billie Eilish and it literally reminds me so much of Nashville. Like, literally “you made me hate this city” lines up so much, it’s weird to think of it as completely unrelated. if you’re also struggling with the lack of a The Standing Dead album, LISTEN TO IT, AND FIND THE SIMILARITIES. anyway go read it it’s so incredible.
