rain rain, go away, come again another day || CLOSED [Mister Suishouryuu]
[♫♫♫]
And again with the cruel voting. Why did Mister Mayor insist on making them send someone to get hurt? None of them deserved this-hadn’t Mister Suishouryuu’s injuries been bad enough? Apparently not. Mister Myojin had offered himself as the one to take the fall, but she couldn’t bring herself to do it; he didn’t deserve this.
It would seem not enough people shared that thought as off he went to that creepy room. Though it was far less bloody than the last time, it still looked unpleasant. She just hoped he’d be alright. Of course, Mister Mayor decided to take advantage of the fact that everyone was in one place to announce his next incentive. Money...? She almost expected another scary video, or really anything else but this. Still, it was something to think about-or, in her case, something to avoid thinking about.
Emerging from the chapel, she noticed the downpour. Oh drat, she didn’t know it was going to rain. She’d already had the pleasure of being doused in water from when she lived with Mister Hokori and Miss Horimaida and she didn’t feel like repeating it. Ah, there was a supermarket over there...! She hurried over there, hoping the downpour would be kind to her.
One failed attempt to dry her poor coat out later, and she stepped back out into the rain-this time prepared. Sadly, she’d had to tuck her coat into her bag as it was very damp and she didn’t want to wear it in that state. She’d managed to find a small umbrella shaped like a frog in the supermarket and since it all seemed free (or at least she hadn’t been reprimanded for taking it from any robots) she’d taken it with her.
She actually hadn’t thought about where to go next, so she just wandered around aimlessly. Since she hadn’t really looked around this area, it was probably a good move. Plus, it was kind of refreshing to be walking around like this-aside from the chill and the water getting in her shoes; the sound of rain falling had always been nice. A new sound, that of someone walking behind her caught her attention, and she turned around to see Mister Suishouryuu, whom she still wasn’t sure was her brother yet.
“Oh, um. Good afternoon...!”
Gymnopedie || OPEN
Horrible.
Everything was horrible terrible awful bad and she wanted nothing more than to curl up into a small ball and hide. Kirihito had been up to no good and because of it, Toshishiro had killed him. He’d lied to her, to everyone, and then had been killed for it. Now they were getting new housemates and new things were being unlocked and there was too much change to take it at once.
Which is why, upon arriving at her new living quarters, she made a beeline for her room and proceeded to stay in it-coming out for the mandatory breakfast, of course-for the next few days, refusing to leave it. If anyone said anything about her self-imposed isolation, they thankfully didn’t say it to her. She didn’t want to have to explain herself; really, it wouldn’t even be an explanation. It was simply force of habit.
As much as she was prepared and even able to stay cooped up for days on end, the new area intrigued her far more than her general regard for staying away from people and soon enough, she found herself boarding the train-after making sure she was the only occupant on it,of course-and taking in what the new area had to offer. Everything was so interesting, but it was the flower shop that piqued her curiosity and so that’s how she found herself at the back of the store, sitting in silence and surrounded by flowers. It was rather nice, actually. She could just sit here and look at the all the colors-if she got some thread and fabric, she could even imagine herself making some new crafts here. An unusual but calming workplace, really.
The sound of the door opening snapped her out of her calm state and into one of slight panic. Who was it? She didn’t see anyone around when she entered the shop. The thought that perhaps they might be here to kill her entered her mind and refused to leave. Oh dear, oh no, were they looking for someone easy to pick off? Drat, this was surely because she’d spoken up so much at the trial.
She quickly scooted behind some decently-large flowerpots and hid behind there, hoping that whoever was there would leave. Or at least not notice her there. Whichever one led to her being left alone again.
So far my thoughts on this film is that it's super bland and low-stakes.
Never seen the Stitch sequel, but it come with the discount blu ray of the original I bought ages ago that I'm finally watching, so I'm gonna watch it. Not sure if I have any thoughts but if I do I'll tag them "Stitch 2" so you can block them.
The End
Stitch's hula hips make the ending of this movie ok.
Yeah, Lilo. You were so worried about a hula that your best friend in the universe DIED. Stitch didn't come back because of your love. He came back because you learned your damned lesson.
WELL DON'T ACT LIKE YOU CARE NOW, LILO!
