Stitches In Space
I am the threads of a stitch sailing across an open wound, when I make breaking wave on the shore of splintered flesh, do they sing of travels deep or do they whisper their traumas to sleep?
Lullabies for sailors of the skin, no stars to guide us just sores and scabs slabs of skeletal stone; When I look out onto the veins endless, interconnected membranes, nerves I see an inner galaxy and I weep for all those lost in the blood-soaked void of space.
