Word Vomit: Stitching up
A brand new Word Vomit that will speak to the soul.
I always seem To only die in my dream Torn by the seam Watching your smile glean
I can’t run away Night never turns to day You never swayed And I’m always slayed
But I still love you And I don’t know what to do Do you love me too Have our broken pieces come unglued
You took my heart Broke it apart Blew out my spark Left me in the dark
Now I have to stand Love has become bland I want to understand

"...Thank you again, Tessa. I'm sorry to do this to you again, but you're a lifesaver. I'll see you soon."
Eliane hung up the phone, silently thanking Harmony for Tessa Linden. She checked to make sure that the door to her bedroom was still shut, with her two new roommates sequestered inside where they'd be out of trouble for now, then headed back toward the kitchen/living room area to grab a wet cloth for Jace's side.
Her apartment wasn't large, but she'd always felt it was enough for her. A small bedroom, a kitchen and living room combined, and a bathroom was really all she needed. It was clean, but not overly so. Papers on the table, a few books out of place on her shelves, just piled instead of placed back where they belonged. She wasn't overly concerned with neatness, just enough to keep things from looking messy.
She carried the warm, damp cloth over to Jace, then sat in the chair next to him, looking slightly embarrassed. "I'm sorry that I got you shot, Jace. That Soothing hit and I... I didn't even think. There's a part of me that still can't quite believe I did that."
