Dare for Lent

This Lent, I am taking on a dare… a dare to be an evangelist! 

The thought scares me!! The word “evangelist” in particular intimidates me - it is so not me! But, the word “dare” pulls me in. It would be fun to see if I can actually do it knowing I probably won’t be able to. I hope I don’t give up… only by the grace of God would I be able to do this!! This is the time to deny myself and pick up the cross! Let’s do this, God!

What are you daring yourself to do or not to do this Lent?? May God bless you. Feel free to let me know so I can pray for you, too. Whatever it is, may we stay strong for the greater glory of God.

I’d like to call on the help of St. JPII who keeps reminding us - be not afraid. St. JPII, please pray for us.
