Vassago volunteered to check on Stolas. The allusive owl had not attended a council meeting in months and news of his divorce was all over Sinstagram. He didn’t know the bird well, they had only had conversations in passing, usually during council but Vassago had been meaning to speak to him, to find out the facts, rather than the numerous rumors that had been going around.
The council was fed up with the owl, he was going against he grain of a normal Goetia and while Vassago surly had no issue with that, often finding the councils proceedings as archaic, he wanted to learn the truth.
Rumor had it that the owl had an affair with an imp that led to his divorce from that harpy Stella, Andrealphus’ sister. From the few times that Vassago had been around Stella, he couldn’t fault Stolas for wanting to be rid of her. A horrible, wretched woman. Vassago counted his lucky stars that he had not been forced into a similar circumstance.
He was arriving to Stolas’s palace without prior notice as everything the council had sent, had gone ignored. Vassago straightened his clothing as he portaled to the palace, stepping up and knocking on the door. A small imp answered and bowed at him. “I am here to see Prince Stolas.” The imp hurried to let him in and guided him to a parlor where he took a seat and was reassured Stolas would be down shortly.
The imp hurried off and knocked on Stolas’s bedroom door, “Your Highness? You have a visitor!”
