My friend has another new book!

Kacey Vanderkarr’s first book of her new Stone series, Stepping Stones, is another step forward. Kacey’s stories are classic paranormal romances with a twist. She has a way of making you feel so many emotions in just one chapter. I have to say this particular story hit home with me personally because of my own life. It is tragic watching as Onna’s family disintegrates. Kacey’s unique paranormal aspect adds a richness to the story. Providing small amounts of humor with her character Hunter helps to fully ground the story. I truly recommend the story!

A strong mineral, hematite is a great for grounding. Although it looks like a shiny, silver-like metal, hematite can also be red (if you grind it into a powder); it also has traces of iron, a major protector against harm in lore. 

Hematite can help strengthen the body in a few ways. Core areas are the blood and circulatory system and body temperature. Because it is a great grounding stone, hematite stabilizes and helps people focus. To recap, when using hematite, keep these words in mind: strength, stability, balance, protection, and grounding. 

For those who use stones for chakras, hematite energy is great for: base / root.

Extras: Not sure if this is coincidental, so please do not take this to heart. I found that when my electronics act up and I place my hematite next to them, they function properly again. I don’t mean when my electronics are really bad off (virus, full drive, faulty registry, or other hardware and software problems). Let’s say my device isn’t loading properly or it froze. When I placed hematite next to it, the device gets over the hiccup and functions again. Has anyone experienced this with their hematite?

Rose Quartz is a great stone for emotional healing. It can effectively reduce aggravating and aggressive conditions. It’s a self worth booster as well as that go to stone to encourage better understanding.  

Any damage caused by poor self-image can be neutralized by rose quartz. It also can clear some build up of emotional stress, so that’s another plus in the stone’s corner. Some people carry the stone around or keep it in their hands when they need to meditate, but another good use is to place the stone close to your heart. It might cause some discomfort, so it’s good to have some calming and stabilizing stones to balance the release of emotional stress. 

For those who use stones for chakras, rose quartz energy is great for: Heart.
