The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Rock [NEW 1978 Edition] - Frankie Miller. (Who? You ask) Born in Glasgow, Scotland, and discovered singing in London pubs and clubs the end of 1971 by ex- #proculharum guitarist #robintrower and ex- #jethrotull drummer #clivebunker . Trower and Bunker had both quit their respective bands and were looking for a singer to complete minor-league “supergroup” Jude, having already picked-up bassist Jim Dewar from #stonethecrows . However, the whole project never got much further than press interviews in which Robin and Clive praised unknown Miller’s vocal talents, and Jude broke up early 1972 almost as quickly as it had assembled. 1) “not from said ref” “Once in a Blue Moon” is the debut solo album by Frankie Miller, utilising Brinsley Schwarz as his backing band, showcases Miller's skills as a singer and songwriter. The song "I Can’t Change It" was covered by Ray Charles on his album Brother Ray Is At It Again.
