This album. THIS ALBUM! So good! I’ve listened to their greatest hits till it bled out of my ears, but that much else. Eben still, several of the songs from that, that are on hear, still sound fresh and new and awesome in this new context. I didn’t know “stop sobbing” was a cover till I listened to that kinks live album. I think I read that Chrissy hynde dated one of the Davies, don’t remember which one. Ray? Anyway, great song. Another bonus is that it takes me a while to understand what she (Chrissy) is saying (still don’t know half of what she’s saying in “brass in pocket” even after all these years) but I love the sound of her voice, so the lyrics don’t even need to be good. Although my gut is that I would like them. I should read some of them sometime, but I kinda enjoy the mystery. Some of these songs sound so riot grrrl. Love it.

Later: kid is such a gorgeous song. Also, "brass in pocket" (some of which makes no sense to me). Is one of my favorite songs to listen to while crushing.
