We were tasked with creating an armature, then a maquette of a character of our choice. We did this to improve our sculpting skills and to just creatively explore the different possibilities there are in the process. I chose to create a monster-like character with long arms and large hands. I thought this could look effective once sculpted, and I like creepy weird characters. After the wire armature is finished I will add foil and masking tape to bulk it to the shape I want. I will then add super-sculpy and detail the character.
Stills from a puppet stop-motion I made last year! Only a 6 second scene, it’s called ‘Burnt Out’ and features a wood-burned hand-made puppet in a stop-motion bathroom.
You can see it on my Youtube channel here!
My first stop-mo character
I recently finished the Animation BAA program at Sheridan College! Here’s my demo reel highlighting some of the work I’ve done in the past year or two.
I’m currently looking for work in stop-motion and to improve my skills as a story artist in a revisionist position.

Stop Mo Class today and our little animation smash test :>
What's inside of things? Watch an object or tool fall apart piece by piece and then come back together in this cool stop motion animation.
YOU GUYS!! The small stop-mo project I worked on a year ago just got its launch! What looks like he first batch of shorts is up (there are 50 in total) & of them I did “baseball” and “backpack”
(also idk but this might be only available in Canada. Sorry about that if that’s the case :(
Here’s the first trailer for a kids show I animated on last September! It comes out this fall on TVO (in Canada) Not sure when it’ll make it to the world, or the web, but I’ll be sure to share when it does!
