These images would certainly be included in my standard portfolio as a photojournalist, but the unique personality of Gianna Jessen changed my perspective. I photographed Ms Jessen before an overflow audience that extended into the corridors adjacent to the lecture hall, challenging me to comprehend the profound difference between the culture of life and the culture of death. She is the survivor of a saline abortion attempted in a clinic in the United States around the seventh month of pregnancy.
