I’m not a hard-core stan. I’m the type of fan who supports multiple groups at a time, refusing to focus solely on one. I don’t want to invest my emotions too much into one group with the fear of any issue rising because I’m honestly brittle and weak when it comes down to it.

For Topp Dogg, I kind of felt that the group would have a hard time. They were from a small company, their debut song wasn’t a hit, and the next one after that wasn’t either. People just kept sleeping on them.

But I loved them.

I really loved them.

Members kept leaving one after the other, but I still love them.

But when Hansol gave that farewell letter, my God, I broke.

It awakened all my frustrations- because I can’t do much. I can’t even not rely on subs by (amazing) fans. I’m still a student so I couldn’t buy all the albums, and I have to focus on academics so I couldn’t stream all the time.

It seems so trivial for other people- how I can be so affected by people I’ve only watched through a screen. They don’t get it.

I fell inlove with these boys because I loved how they dreamed. I loved how they worked hard for that dream.

Idols are dreamers.

They perform on that stage with a wish that they will become the stars they want to be.

And TD’s dreams were just as big as any other idol groups’. Why couldn’t theirs take off?

TD hasn’t disbanded, thank God. I know that they still have a chance.

This doesn’t just go out to TD, but also to other severely underrated groups.
