Intermezzo - An intermezzo is a short dramatic composition between the acts of a play. This particular one takes place right after the fight on Titan as Tony tries to process the devastating loss, deal with his injury and cope with an unlikely companion whose plans for him may not be in tune with his own.
Moments After - The scene in IM3 where Tony is having a nightmare while in bed with Pepper never sat right with me. I understood Pepper's position - her very legitimate fear (being manhandled by the Iron Man armor), her frustration. I understood her lashing out in the heat of the moment. But she left Tony alone after he literally begged her not to, after he had confessed to her how scared he was, how these nightmares have plagued him, never letting him rest. I was disappointed that she just walked out and it was left at that. I felt that Tony deserved better, so I decided to fix it.
Holding on - Remember that scene in Captain America: Civil War where Miriam Spencer (the mother of Charlie Spencer) confronts Tony in the hallway after his MIT speech, accuses him of only ever fighting for himself and lays all of the blame for her son's death at his feet? That confrontation, to me, felt like one of the crueler moments of the movie, and I've been wanting to fix some of the damage done to Tony by that particular conversation. Here's my attempt.
Train Wreck - I saw this post on tumblr (https://somethingjustsouthofbrilliance.tumblr.com/post/176567055585/mto-art-concept-first-actual-hug-they-share-is) and my muse's whump-radar started going off like crazy. So she came up with this short and mostly plotless excuse to whump Tony with a side of worried Peter and helpful Hulk.
Fool Me Once - The Avengers have to work together to combat a looming threat of an alien invasion that Tony's been warning them about for years. But when trust isn't there, working together may not be as simple as it once was.OrI wanted to write me some protective and worried Peter and I needed an excuse to whump Tony. The rest of the plot is collateral to the two aforementioned needs
Rescue Me - This story was inspired by a tumblr pic and grew into something angsty and whumpy (but with a, hopefully, satisfying fluffy ending. It follows Stephen and Tony through the years, touching upon some canon moments from IM and Dr Strange movies. But it's an AU, so prepare to expect the unexpected ;-)
I Got You - President James Rhodes has been receiving threatening messages from an unknown but dangerously close source. His bodyguard and closest adviser suggest he hire an outsider they trust to help ensure his safety - word is Tony Stark is the best there is. But Stark comes with baggage of his very own and danger follows them both. (WIP)
Reach Across the Stars - Basically, I watched the Av4 trailer and it broke me and now I have to find a way to fix it. This is my take on what happens both on The Benatar and on Earth and how the two connect.
Blue Skies - Bucky and Tony decide to get away for a romantic weekend at the beach - nice, quiet, peaceful. And then a storm comes...
Heartsick - co-written with @tonystark5ever James Rhodes is a brilliant heart surgeon, and Tony Stark is a billionaire weapons designer who just happens to be in urgent need of a heart transplant. Simple, right? Wrong. (WIP)
When the Colors Bleed Away - a mostly plotless excuse for some irondad angstiness and whump.
I know in my heart that it’s right - an Avengers: Endgame fix-it. I wasn’t satisfied with the Russos’ “resolution” to Tony’s and Steve’s arc, so I decided to ignore canon and do things my way.
SHERLOCK HOLMES (GUY RITCHIE VERSE) FICS
A Friend in Deed - Holmes gets jealous. Watson gets angry. Then they both get a revelation.
Tuesdays - Watson kisses Holmes on a Tuesday. It goes downhill from there.
Or when reason makes one do stupid things and (hopefully) live to regret them.
