“You.” Aden scowled fiercely, his azure-yellow eyes flashing. “I’ve seen you before, I’m certain.” Where, he could not say for sure. All he could be certain of was that she was bound to be one of the Dalish from around Ostwick, for that was one of the few places he had encountered them before now.

Haven wasn’t really all that populated with elves either. Her presence was truly extraordinary. A moment later, and the barest hint rose in his memory, a soft laugh of sorts under the light of the stained glass. Thus in a chantry. A Dalish in a Chantry? Why now, of all times, did his memory falter?

Relationship & Courting antics Asks. || Accepting

1. ♥ Do they seek out love or let it find the? Are they even interested in romance?   Aden is not actively seeking a romantic partner. When he invested himself in the life of a templar, he sacrificed everything that might resemble a normal life. A relationship, children, a stable household. Templars are allowed to marry, but only if the partner is able to support themselves without the aid, as templars are only granted a small stipend. It must be cleared by the Chantry. Aden accepted these restrictions, and thus understood that he is not likely to have a partner. Once Inquisition starts, he still not actively looking for a relation. There are much larger concerns. If it happens, it happens, but he’s not out there to find a partner. 11. ♥ Do they make an effort to find someone with similar views, be they political or moral?

  There would be some effort to have someone with similar views. After all, he would not want to fight with his partner constantly over various topics. Interestingly he can deal with people of alternate views so long as they can converse about it and find compromises. Morally he would have to have someone of similar lines. Cowardice and selfishness would not be acceptable. He has severe stubbornness issues, and that itself would be a curious problem. 17. ♥ What sort of characteristics or quirks draw them to someone?

  Aden is drawn to confidence, boldness and assurance. He enjoys intelligence, and is very appreciative of honesty. Appearances are not entirely important, though he does appreciate a more exotic look, favoring the looks of elves or those from the northern parts of Thedas. Accents also have some draw to him, Ferelden and Orlais less so than Nevarra or Antivan. Anyone who is willing to talk shop with him about combat, religion, history or a mastery in crafts in general will draw his attention. 29. ♥ How do they express their love to their partner?

  Aden becomes more protective of that individual, while also trying to do whatever he can to support them in their endeavors. Aden is a insatiable workaholic, and so he often does not think to stop and do something for his partner, but he will sometimes make things for them, or intentionally work to spend time with them. It’s more in the small things he does, remembering details that one would likely miss, or giving them things where they can find it. There’s some level of physical affection, touch he shares with no one else really. He’s gentler around someone he cares for deeply, more than anything else.

Amb didn't take a bath once so Reva told him to go away.

♥9 Are they patient with their partners?

It depends. Both of them can be patient and equally impatient. Ambrós has little time for bullshit, as does Reva, so he would much rather just get to the point than tiptoe around things. That isn't to say there aren't times where they're patient, and they wait. They both know how to reel it in and let the other take their time in explaining something. Feelings aren't their thing, so opening up takes time for them.

♥12 Do they seek to find a partner purely to further the bloodline and name, is it for true love, or is it for pleasure alone?

Ambrós loves someone for who they are, not what they bring him. He loves, and he loves hard. He doesn't care about bloodlines, names, rich, poor, whatever else. He loves for love and nothing more.

♥21 What was the most romantic time they had with their partner?

Reva sucked his dick in the moonlight once. It was kinda romantic. There were fireflies.

♥27 Have they had dreams about their partner/the person they are courting?

Amb has some dreams about Reva, but not all the time. Usually when he's asleep, he dreams in black and white, or just a dirty/dark monochrome. It's depressing, empty, and prone to turning into nightmares.

But then he sees Reva. Colour flows from his fingertips, the ground starts sprouting flowers and green, life comes back into everything. He sees more than just black and white; everything is lively, breathing as it used to.

Reva brings life back into him even when he sleeps.

♥30 Would they leave the person they love if it meant saving their life/giving them a better chance at life?

Ultimately, no. Ambrós is selfish. He wants what he wants, and he wouldn't give up what he has if he had to. When he's devoted, he's devoted. He wants to be together for as long as he possibly can, regardless of what the world will throw at them. If it means cutting their time together short because he didn't want to live a day without him, so be it.

♥ Do they spend a lot of time in the courting stage or attempt to get to first base as fast as possible?

It really all depends on partner. In most cases, though, it’s the former. He’s very choosy about his partners to begin with, and courting them is a simple - if somewhat backhanded - way to get a read on who they really are. Especially since I’ve already noted Reva is kind of terrible at reading people’s emotions when it comes to romance.

♥ Are they loyal to their partners?

For those who have been in it for the long run, you bet. Part of it being why he’s so picky. If you can tolerate him and his bullshit for that long, you’ve more than earned his loyalty and trust.

♥ Do they seek to find a partner purely to further the bloodline and name, is it for true love, or is it for pleasure alone?

Look at Reva. Look at his ‘ships or the people he’s interested in. ( @dragantabreath, @formertranquil, @druxyboy ). Tell me what you think.

♥ How did their relationship start?

Amb and Reva were teenagers. You tell me. 

♥ Will they lie for the sake of their significant other’s happiness?

For Ambrós? Probably not. He has lied in the past and Amb has always figured him out so it’s just… Not worth it anymore. Reva tells it like it is and expects his partners to do the same.

◊: Do you bing-reply or prefer reply-queueing?

I typically bing-reply. I’m very much a “reply when I’m inspired” type of mun so I tend to spew things our until the inspiration runs dry.

♂: Is there any kind of music, you hear while writing? What kind of music?

Rarely do I listen to music while replying to roleplays, but, if I am linstening to music, it’s something without lyrics. I like dubstep and chillstep a lot of for writing and studying, so it’d probably be that sort of stuff.

♯:  Is there any kind of muse, you would like to play, but don’t dare? Why?

So, there are a lot definitely. Within the Dragon Age universe, I’d love to be able to play Morrigan, Cassandra, or Leliana, but I don’t believe I’d have the voice for it. I marvel at those who do!

“I’m afraid sendin’ out scouts ta assist your brethren is out of the question, Inquisitor. It’s a huge risk durin’ this time of the year ta do so.” 

She refrained from rubbing her temples, not from the other’s plea, but from the fact that if the scouts under her weren’t from the Inquisition she would’ve gone ahead and sent aid. It wasn’t an easy decision for her to comply to the orders of her superiors, as she was used to working through things by herself, and it left her with tied hands. Was there another way she could assist the other without disregarding orders? 

There was one way the Reaver could go about it, but she couldn’t guarantee that it would be quick. 

Johanne sighed, setting aside the smaller maps she had scattered across the table, and pulled out a map of the Free Marches.
