Am I the only one who pictures coyotes when visualizing Eris's smokehounds?
Maybe it's because the few descriptors we have of Autumn genuinely put me in mind of Appalachia in the fall, and coyotes are freaking everywhere here, but I can't help but picture these guys:
Like, imagine Eris surrounded by a pack of domesticated, highly-trained coyotes.
Anyone who has had to deal with the danger furballs knows well enough how resourceful they are, but also how vicious. They're loyal to their packs, but they'll strip a cow or horse to bone overnight. They can be massive (we had one hang out around the house that was larger than my dad's bloodhound). I've never been more panicked than when I accidentally rode up on a den while horseback riding.
But who else is resourceful and dangerous while presenting an appealing facade? Eris.
