STORMS ROOTS ORACLE DECK, A CARIBBEAN BASED ORACLE DECK 

KICKSTARTER LAUNCHES IN 11 DAYS

My first personal proof finally arrived of the Storm Roots Oracle Deck. I'm already in love with the messages. I really feel the intent behind the drawings and words and each feel like I'm given a story and message sent straight from home.

Things I loved: these cards shuffle amazingly, the cards with black backgrounds look so crisp and smooth. , It doesn't feel like anything is missing from this deck.

And the black half of the box is 100% perfect.

However I do also see some changes I'm excited to make. One manufacturing error I see is that some cards seem to be a little dirty or got dirty during the printing process. Will have to call them and talk to them about that and look for a different printing factory if need be.

The circle on the box and on the back of the cards is a little too big and I really want to shrink it and increase the resolution!. Just a few art tinkers here and there with color and lineart but man I love these so much

I can't wait to start writing the guide book and work on the changes!!!

Hollywood voodoo: Misinformation ///////// Stolen Shadow: Control

Misinformation about a situation in order to control.

 In the Caribbean, Obeah men can use magic to steal or trap your shadow and control you from afar. Sometimes the victim may even pass if their shadow isn’t returned.   Sometimes people may purposely misrepresent a situation, memory or event to control your actions according to their whim. Find the truth about the situation, see in what ways certain aspects are embellished or demonized.  The truth doesn’t always lead to immediate freedom, but it is the first step towards it.

Harvest Moon Reading: 09/19

The Cards and their corresponding energies in my deck that’s coming out.  Empty mimicking the energy of isolation, heartbreak, depression, and pain.  The Canoe or Garifuna’s journey symbolizing journey and the cinnamon broom symbolizing commitment, bonds, community, and family. 

The Channelled Message:

The Harvest Moon is just as the word depicts. A time to reap all the seeds you've seen since the last new moon and even far before.  You've experienced heartbreak, pain and challenges that you taught would never end.  The three cards displayed depict a story and the woman has her back turned to the heartbreak and is walking towards where she belongs. Her village, those who resonate on her frequency and would ease the feelings of loneliness she may have experienced.  

Perhaps the heartbreak wasn't romantic but family-based, friends who hurt you or didn't understand you. There is a journey that has begun, a journey towards where you truly belong and spirit is urging you forward. The journey itself is not easy and not everything can come with you. The woman in this card, she only has one suitcase and she isn't looking back. She doesn't see the three women waiting for her, but the spirit does and they are edging you forward on the premise of faith.

 The bridge may sway and buckle from winds or you may hear the voices of those you left behind but know that spirit has something else waiting for you on the other side.
