The front will bring more rain and thunderstorms from the Great Lakes into Texas. Probably just gusty storms along the front and limited severe weather. TS Rafael is in the Caribbean and will move into the Gulf this weekend. Shear will probably weaken Rafael prior to nay landfall so heavy rains may be the main impacts.

The progress of a thunderstorm for 45 minutes over Santa Fe and how it affected the temperature as it went over. This is the storm tracker from Weathbug’s display edited together and sped up. This covers from 3:05 pm MDT to 4:50 pm MDT. The first, brief section is zoomed in a bit more than others.
