One of my D&D groups is running a viking-themed one-shot in Savage Worlds today, and while I’m not super into vikings, I sure do like folklore and mythology and making ridiculous characters for one-shots, so OOPS, my character is Storsie (as in Storsjöodjuret), the monster who protects the nearby lake and considers the village part of his jurisdiction and likes to visit in human form every few months to tell tales of dead fishermen and hear land stories from his land friends (and to remind them that it’s considered good form to make offerings to their local vatnavættr)~
