✨Round Robin Storybot ✨

A Discord bot that helps you write stories with friends! Or, at least other people! (Or really you could write stories by yourself as well, that's actually kind of fun.)

Isn't he cute? (Yes, the branch was originally meant to look like the AO3 logo, and no, it's nothing actually to do with AO3, it just started out that way and it stuck. You might see the old logo with the red lines floating around. The bot is super fun to write collaborative fanfiction with!)

The Round Robin Storybot is a robust collaborative writing bot and story relay game that runs relay-style story events where writers take turns contributing entries.

When one writer finalizes their turn, the next participant is automatically selected and notified.

Isn't that fun? (Yes, really it totally is!)

Multiple stories can be run concurrently, and there are many configuration options available like:

- Full story metadata including Rating, with the option of having Mature or Explicit stories routed to a separate, age-restricted channel

- Stories can be written in Slow, Quick, or Normal mode for varied complexity and pressure (or no pressure!)

- Multiple writer order options: Random, Round Robin (random but everyone gets a turn before it repeats) and Fixed (join order)

I've written this bot as a labor of love for my Hobbit fandom @bagginshieldbookclub Discord server. We've written nine collaborative stories so far, nearly 75k words together! We started out using another bot, Storybot, but I wanted a better turn order than just completely random, and the whole project blossomed from that one desire. We've just completed our latest story relay, a collaboration for the @thereandbackagainbang fest that ended up at just over 30k!

Summary: After the Battle of Five Armies, Bilbo must return to the Shire before a year and a day have passed to prevent the loss of his home and belongings. Thorin insists on being the one to accompany him, and him alone. Along the way they work out the conflicts that have been holding them apart from each other.

Including: misinterpreted flower gifts, Beorn shipping it, returning the Oakenshield, the Ring is Still a Thing, Hobbits assume Bilbo ran off to get married, trolling Lobelia, Dwarrow rituals, and correctly interpreted flower gifts

Did I ever mention that I ship these three as a polycule? No? Well, now you know.

Also, tis the grand return to my Western AU! It has gotten a ton of traction recently and when it was initially posted, so I might as well give the people what they want.

Ok so here's the picture. When Bang first came into town, the first face he meets is Beep. Of course, being dehydrated, hungry, and in a giant mental fog, he thinks he's dead and assumes that Beep is some beautiful angel from Hevan. Beep is taken aback at first, but just decides to help him anyway.

Bang ends up staying with Beep and Bing when recovering, becoming insta-besties with Bing while slightly rizzing up Beep (for a lack of a better explanation), to which she reciprocates slightly. After he's well enough, Beep takes him into town to introduce him to her and Bing's other friends. There he meets Bo, Beep's best friend, and Boop, the bartender.

When Bang first meets Boop, he does some slight friendly flirting to him, to which Boop is incredibly flattered by. He won't admit to it tho, very much giving "it's not like I like you" energy. They often spend time together when Bang gets off sheriff duty, sharing drinks and having a gay ol' time.

Despite this, Bang does not neglect time to hang out with Beep either. He often helps out on the ranch when she's working and he's off duty. Beep actually teaches him a ton of things, such as cattle herding and maintaining farmland. Romantically working together if you will.

What Bang doesn't know is that Beep and Boop have been unofficially seeing each other for a while before this. They never really made their relationship status known, but everyone sorta knew they were a couple. However, both of them have been rizzed up by Bang, so when the two of them have an open discussion about it, they just stare at each other in disbelief, then decide to tell him together one night.

That is the night in the picture. After the confessions of course, but still that night. Bang was surprised to hear that Beep and Boop were together, but he was even more surprised that they both liked him too. They end the night admitting their crushes, and stuff and they all form a circle of love yippee the end.

I don't like picking sides for shipping lol. If I see it both ways, I'm making them poly, idc. Making peace with both sides as my sibling would say.
