No one understands this stoup like I do, no one. (I just like how it looks)

Chicken stoup cooling in the crock pot before being refrigerated overnight. I'm calling it stoup because I'm not sure how much it will thicken when cooled. This really was a clean the cupboard soup, lol.

6 bone in chicken thighs

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 can cream of broccoli and cheese

1 box no salt added chicken broth

1 540 ml can diced tomatoes

1 T. Reduced sodium Better Than Bouillon roasted chicken base

1 Lipton Chicken Noodle soup packet

6 cloves of garlic, chopped

2 medium onions, diced

3/4 lb of fresh mushrooms, sliced

1/3 cup or so of pearled barley

I added a

1/4 t. poultry seasoning (all I had left)

1 1/2 t. dried parsley

1 1/2 t. dried oregano

Between the BBB, Lipton soup packet and canned soups there was more than enough sodium, so I did not add any extra salt. The Lipton noodles and barley will soften a lot as it sits, but I don't mind that much as there is only a small amount of each. My crock pot is full, so I'm hoping for at least 10-15 servings.... depending on how big I decide the servings will be.

I am pointedly ignoring the dirty dishes for now. ;-)
