Hi I'm a self taught knitter and while I'm not that good yet I was wondering if it's possible to knit a hat on straight needles? Are there any patterns for this that you recommend, if any?

I never made a hat on straight needles personally but I know for a fact there is some out there! Raverly and Pinterest would be a great place to look for any patterns that may have them! I would just type in knitted hat on straight needles! Or if you’re a visual learner you could always look it up on YouTube as well

Yesterday I received two of the most special gifts I've been given in a long long time. On the left, the PRECIOUS needle set that @paaguirre saved for me because she knows I can't knit so well on circulars... These belonged to her gandma and she was so generous and amazing that she wanted me to have them. I can't tell you how touched I am ❤️ On the right... Can you see that tiny little hat? That's a sewing needle holder my Mom @virginialocatelli sewed when she was 5! It's made with tiny tiny floss and the most perfect little stitches.
