We just had 3 days of rain, a lot of it, sometimes with thunderstorms and ending in little white ice balls falling. Today we had an earthquake (which somehow I didn't feel even though it was pretty close to me). 3 days from now there will be a solar eclipse although not total here. And last night there was some kind of planetary alignment. If this were a fantasy story I would say they were being heavy-handed.

We're vending today at Pomynauck Academy, in Old Bethpage Village, New York. It's an event celebrating the 20 year anniversary of the Harry Potter books.

Just traveling vendor things-

Picking through your email while getting ready for bed, finding a message you'd been waiting for saying that applications are open for an event. Then proceeding to fill out the application on your phone, partially undressed, standing in front of the bathroom sink around 1 in the morning.

We got to meet Oberon Zell today at LeHigh Valley Pagan Pride! We had a lovely time talking with him, and he liked our setup. =D

And we also worked out a deal to carry some of his statues and plaques! I’ll be posting pics soon.

So as I mentioned might happen previously, this blog has been transferred to another email, and can now be found at strangeomens.tumblr.com  (this page has been renamed, and will stay up as a place holder)  

So please come refollow me there if you have any interest, I guarantee that there's going to be WAAAAYYYY more content since I won't have to keep logging in and out anymore.

Made another batch of bottle cap pins, this time focusing on the designs that turned out best last time. Now that I've achieved a consistent design, these will be turning up on the website very soon, and going out in my next shipment to blackboxsubscriptions! www.strangeomens.com

So hey, to anyone who’s actually reading this, I’m probably going to transfer this blog to another email soon. This page will stay up, with a link to the new one, but you’ll have to re-follow.

See, I have a private blog, but I have to be careful about what’s associated with my business or real name (or my publicly known pseudonym, Nyx Strange) because of my day job. And since I’m always on that, this sadly gets neglected. But if I transfer the business blog to the same email as my private blog, I can pay it lots more attention because it won’t be a huge hassle to switch between accounts. More on this soon.
