Stranger srmthfg au: when I first read it I was like, well Eleven is a kid with mysterious powers and mysterious origin so between Chiro and Jimnay.... wait. That description fits both of them. Maybe they're both El? S2 of ST did reveal there was a second kid just like Eleven. So Jimnay and Chiro both could very well be the kids with power. It's just a matter of whether they escaped the lab together or they got seperated years before and escaped at different times. Maybe Xan was in charge of-
2 Chiro and Valina was in charge of Jimnay. Chiro and Jimnay were experimented on together until they were say… 9 or 10. Then Jimnay got taken to a different lab. She got out, but the trauma caused severe memory loss. She could only remember she had to keep running or someone would get her. It wasn’t until her last violent encounter (at age 13) w/Valina that jogs her memory about Chiro. Jimnay decides to leave her gang (well she was in a gang in canon) to go looking for her lost friend. -
3 Chiro didn’t get out until he was around 12 (close to 13, around the time he probably met the the monkeys in canon). Mandarin and Antauri worked for Xan. But neither were aware of the child experimentation going on. When the Alchemist finds out (he’s in charge of the branch) he tries to put a stop to it. Mandarin accidently opens a portal that sucks the Alchemist in and causes Chiro to escape outside. Chiro’s found by Sprx and gets taken in by him. Antauri’s pretty in the dark about -
4 about Xan so far since only Mandy had been there that day. All Mandarin told him was there had been an accident and their Father was trapped in the Upside Down. Also there’s monsters running around. Mandarin wants to take down Xan, but he wants to also continue the experiments because he’s attracted to the power. He knows Antauri wouldn’t approve so he tells half truths. From there Chiro tells Sprx about where he came from after using his abilities to save Nova from a monster. The others -
5 also start to question about their own past because they also start to manifest abilities of their own (not as strong as Chiro). They wouldn’t know it but they had also been secretly experimented on by their Father when they were younger. The Alchemist had erased their memories out of guilt and Clayton having convinced him to stop. They all decide to band together to uncover the mystery of their pasts, Chiro’s future and how to stop the monsters. I’m running out of room, but that’s the gist.

I LOVE the idea of Jinmay escaping first and having memory loss. And her being in a gang!!! Yes. Excellent. So Valina has been hunting her down, attacks them, and maybe Jinmay sustains a head injury that triggers the memories—the same way a head injury caused them to disappear? Or perhaps it’s similar enough to their last encounter that it causes everything to come rushing back? OR maybe Valina says a trigger word? I dunno. Whatever. She gets her memories back, that’s the important bit!
YES, Mandarin opening the portal! An excellent tie-in between the universes, A+, I only wish I had thought of it. Also I totally wanted to find a way for Antauri to be part of the bad organization without making him evil and this is PERFECT. Thank you.
YES CHIRO BEING FOUND BY SPRX AHHHH I LOVE IT. I love their brotherly interactions so. much. Also him rescuing Nova is another A+ because yes.
OMG. Yes! Everyone having powers and the experimentation running deeper than anyone knew is PERFECT and on top of that ties into canon SO WELL.
