My one million IQ friend @yourwldestdreams made the find of the century. So because of Matthew posting that the VHS version is Brenner’s tapes, my friend pointed out that this connects to the Nina plot where El remembered her past wrong, and the tapes showed the truth. This implies that the VHS version would be the truth, and that when we get to season five, it may reveal what’s real. I believe that @bessthevoyageur is correct, and that we will get the VHS release monthly, with the true season 5 being released on November 6 of this year. None of these ideas are mine; I’m just the messenger :)

To all the VHS theories

A lot of people theorize about VHS version and if that was Brenner's tapes all along and I want to add this, to help with theories. In Stranger Things VR game chaper 5 is Henry's pov where MF takes Brenner's form and we see how both Brenner and MF try to study Henry and Henry tries to escape. Chapter starts at 58:38:

As Henry goes through the chapter he is surrounded by screens until he "breaks free" into the Abyss. More and more screens turn bright red as the chapter goes. AI ao3 meta gate? :D Red scripts? Idk.

Watching from the beginning-- all the "spooks" from ep one are Left Handed.

i only noticed this bc anytime there's a movie with spooks i check subconsciously? what hand they write with bc of dad.

like an in-joke w myself but this is weird??? ALL OF THEM??

so what does this mean? unclear but maybe whatever is projecting all these images is actually a hivemind

Im actually scared for season 3, 4, and 5 on vhs redux I'll tell you why:

Widow's bay did a good job showing us what was hidden in plain sight as an example:

Patricia was wearing a tiara but then by the end of the ep it was revealed she had a whole witch head dress on. I'm thinking for any sort of historical conext I've found I'm worried [lol scared] what we saw will fall away as an ex: i think kamchatka and parts of starcourt was actually east germany

There's so the scene on the hill where dustin takes cerebro it's afun nod to the flag being hoisted at iwo jima. so either it will remain a fun nod or There's more there. idk idk!!

watching stranger things vhs and crying bc i love this goddamn show so much and it’s over forever but this is the only reason why i keep my netflix subscription
