Bet you didn’t know this was a place of Torah. As I exit the train, listening to some good music, I feel a tap on my shoulder. “What’s the Parsha?” a tall fellow commenter asks. Other than standing together at Sinai, I’ve never met him before. But he asked, and I answered, and we spoke about the meaning of the Mishkan (last week’s Parsha) while waiting our turns to head up the stairs. He offered his take: “I’ve always understood those instructions as saying that we each have to build a base. I work in flooring,” he concluded with a smile. It was 2 minutes total, and a sweet way to start my day. Let’s build a good day, friends! #TorahIsEverywhere #StrangersNoMore @grandcentralnyc (at Grand Central Station, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/CqIdv1FLvj1/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
