Today on #nationalbestfriendday I challenge every one on my feed posting the National Suicide Prevention Hotline number to actually be a friend and hand out sticks. A stranger telling someone there's a reason to live is far less effective than YOU reaching out to someone who is struggling and asking them if they're okay or want to talk. Sometimes someone texting you is them asking you for a stick, so take a moment to hand them out today. #suicideprevention #beafriend
