Stray x Alita: Battle Angel (Walled City AU)

Two amnesiacs and a cat crossed their paths after they all woke up in a long-forgotten city. Will they untangle an ancient mystery and find the way out?

"LET'S FREE 99" has double meaning - it's both for Walled City 99 where Stray takes place and Alita - who doesn’t know her real name and only remembers she was called "Number 99" in the past. Opening the city will make both the city and Alita free.

I feel like I could do better, but I did it in a hurry.

About the AU:

So, I have an idea for an AU, that manages to mix the lore of Alita and Stray in a way that feels very natural.

It basically happens in Stray universe, borrowing things from A:BA, some even help to fill few gaps in the history of Walled City.

The storyline is parallel to game’s story, a bit modified.

I have two ideas for the ending, one mimicking the original game ending, while the alternate ending adds new things to the story and is happier, I guess.

I’m considering making a series of illustrations with a bit of text, that tells what happens in this AU. Maybe I’d need to make a side blog.

It partially depends if people will show interest.

I called it Walled City AU because I also have idea for an AU that happens in the location where A:BA is taking place (Iron City).

The Sentinels from Stray remind me of the Krills from Sky: Children of the Light

Both use blue lights as a searchlight which turn red if you wander into said searchlight

Both get easily distracted if you hide in/behind something

Not sure how many people know about this, but I definitely know some people hate the cop robos in Stray. BUT there is one you can go up to and give a little "cat hug" (rub against the leg) and he'll cower in terror in response. Guess he was programmed to view physical touch as threatening or something negative, and it sort of makes me sad.

He's close to the Residence in Midtown, having stopped a vehicle to prevent them from going outside, and is the only cop robo you can interact with aside from the one you can trip. So go give this boy a friendly rub or two! Whether you feel sorta bad because he views physical touch as bad or because you hate the law system and love torturing them. >:3 Tbh it's a little bit of both for me. *evil chuckle*
