I dunno who needs to hear this but sending people hate for supporting idols who supposedly did bad things in their past is also bullying so maybe don’t?
Not only that, people make mistakes in school. I’m not excusing bad behavior, but often the mistakes we make as kids help us learn, grow and become better people and it isn’t always fair to judge someone NOW for actions of their PAST (within reason). I myself was a bully in elementary school and worked VERY hard to be a better person, to the point where people who have met me later in life can’t imagine me being that type of person. I made ammends with those I hurt, worked on myself and am proud of who I am today.
I’m not saying blindly defend idols and I’m not excusing anyone’s actions, but be open to the idea that people can change and feel genuine remorse. Sometimes these stories are also false and happen because of rumours, mistranslations and misunderstandings. Not to mention the degree of bullying and rumours idols endure and how that probably shapes and affects their own views and actions as adults. I don’t think it’s fair for someone’s career to be ruined over things from their past - they don’t negate the hardwork and dedication (again within reason).
Just be kind, let people have their own opinions and allow people to be better than they were before. 💕
