The Thomasian Feels

Freshmen Week is over and it all went by so fast. I have so many words inside that I just can't keep anymore. There's so much happiness in me and I don't want this to go away. Making friends is hard for me in the online world. Talking to strangers who might become your worst/best enemy/friend is a bit overwhelming. But it isn't hard as I thought it would be when we first met in person. Yes, it was still difficult for me. But as time goes by, I realized that this is now or never, this is the time to meet new people and be open about it. The time to widen my vantage point and let people in. And just then, it was the best day ever. I got to meet a lot of my blockmates and my expectations were understated. Because they were a lot more than what I thought they'd be. The Thomasian Welcome Walk is known to be a legendary event for Freshies like me. Because this means that we are officially a Tomasino once we passed through the Arch of Centuries. My experience was so so so so much fun, not without our Student Council Officers. They put so much effort for this whole week and I just want to take this moment to appreciate them. They were all so friendly and approachable. Yung walang halong kaplastikan. They have so many stories to tell and I loved every single minute when they were with us. I see so much passion in what they do and I just might want to become one of them. :) We went to the QPav Arena for a mass and while waiting for other colleges to arrive, we were cheering and making the loudest voice possible because there is so much energy from us AMV freshies. Plus our college cheer was very catchy!! Even after the mass, we were still full of energy and we were on fire! And at last, the Accountancy Student Council officially welcomed us to the community. As they say, "Tomasino na, AMVian pa!". It was the best feeling I've experienced. This week was definitely a BLAST!! And I'm sure I'll be having fun every day with my blockmates. University Of Santo Tomas has always been my dream school ever since. And me having to experience all of these is too much. I'm so lucky to have been accepted and I already feel loved. The Royal, Pontifical, and Catholic University of Santo Tomas, where Champions in life are born.
